Are you a skilled CNC technician/toolmaker looking to work on technically demanding projects in a family-like environment? At Randstad, we are currently seeking a CNC preparer for a long-term consulting assignment with one of our clients in Skultorp, outside Skövde. Here you will have a varied workday where quality, commitment, and job satisfaction are in focus.

About the Assignment

Our client is a well-established, family-owned technology company that is in an exciting growth phase. They design and manufacture molds and fixtures for products used all over the world – from cars, tractors, and loaders to buses, furniture, and medical equipment.

As a consultant with us, you will become an important part of their team and work with the entire process, from idea to finished tool.

Location: Skövde (Skultorp) 

Scope: Full-time, consulting assignment via Randstad

Responsibilities

Your tasks:

• Machine milling, assembly, and polishing of tools primarily in aluminum, steel, and cast iron.

• CAM preparation and reading of drawings with high tolerance requirements.

• Ongoing quality control and close dialogue with the design department regarding drawings and technical solutions.

• Contribute to streamlining work methods with a focus on profitability and delivery precision.

Qualifications

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in production and technology. You are meticulous, solution-oriented, and enjoy working both independently and with knowledgeable colleagues.

Requirements for the position:

• Several years of experience in CNC machining and 5-axis milling.

• Confidence in CAM preparation and good experience in reading drawings.

• Experience with molds, fixtures, or prototypes.

Preferred:

• Experience with the Heidenhain control system or the Tebis software.

• Background from industries such as aerospace, medical technology, or precision mechanics.

• Forklift license and overhead crane training.
